Hive Therapeutic Childcare, a distinctive program integrated within BEE KIDS Mental Health and Wellness Center, provides a nurturing environment that functions as both a childcare facility and a therapeutic center. Specifically designed for children who may need additional developmental support, this program helps children enhance developmental skills and promotes preferred behaviors across different settings—whether at school, home, or traditional childcare. Led by behavioral specialists, we create individualized developmental plans to foster growth and positive behavior change. Enrollments are offered in three-month segments, with extended options available for continued skill development and mastery.
Our Integrated Support Program aims to provide children with the tools they need to overcome behavioral skill deficiencies and reach their full potential both at home and in the classroom. This program offers a unique opportunity for families to access high-quality interventions. Grounded in Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBI), the program utilizes evidence-based strategies from developmental science and Behavior Analysis to address behaviors in young children. Through techniques such as face-to-face social interactions, imitation, and joint attention, children are taught developmentally appropriate skills in a supportive environment that encourages independent growth. Daily routines and play are key components, fostering skill development through real-life activities.
The Integrated Support Program is led by a team of highly trained professionals, including a Preschool/Child Care Teacher, Registered Behavioral Therapists, and an onsite specialist with a degree in Education who helps structure the curriculum and classroom management. The program is overseen by a Clinical Psychologist with a master’s degree, ensuring expert guidance and effective support. Together with the child’s family, Hive Therapeutic Childcare, integrated within BEE KIDS Mental Health and Wellness Center, collaborates to set individualized, achievable goals such as improving social skills, enhancing communication abilities, and reducing problematic behaviors.
This program is ideal for children diagnosed with autism, mental health disorders such as ODD, OCD, PDA, RAD, and PTSD, or typically developing children who are struggling in their current school or childcare setting.
