Social Skills Training Group
Ages 3-7
Modeled after our PEERS program designed for older children, our SST groups are expertly facilitated by licensed professionals and are designed around social skill development for preschool and early school age children. In each session, we concentrate on honing a specific skill, employing effective techniques such as video modeling and role-playing to provide students with hands-on practice. Our groups are thoughtfully structured to include a balance of structured activities and more relaxed interactions, often featuring enjoyable games and casual engagement. Some of the typical lessons within our sessions encompass vital abilities like initiating and sustaining conversations, managing situations involving teasing and bullies, and enhancing proficiency in reading non-verbal cues.
